I have had over the past few months a couple of emails come in to me that were quite nice to see. All looking to see when I would have new work and even helpfully suggesting I should perhaps post elsewhere to expand my readers. I am not sure my stuff is good enough for some of the more mainstream erotica sites but it's nice to get positive feedback or feedback of any kind to be honest. I wanted to let you know that from about March to about three days ago I had not written a single word. I had some things to do in the real world and no time for fantasy. A couple of days ago I was re-watching Shazam (Great movie btw) and I got to thinking maybe I should write a Mary Marvel story and an idea came to me right away and I have been writing off and on ever since. So hopefully I can get that released sooner rather then later.
It also got me to thinking. When I write these stories I always have an actress in mind to play the role. It helps me to visualize everything. For me Supergirl is almost always Laura Vandervort, though Melissa Beloist is also used in my mind. Batgirl (My first crush) is always Yvonne Craig. Wonder Woman is a bit different in that she is such a large enough character I can usually get by without having to imagine an actress in her boots but when I do Gal Gadot has certainly filled the role admirably.
While watching Shazam and thinking about a Mary Marvel piece I also thought how disappointed I was in her brief appearance in the movie. I think the young actress who portrayed Mary was fantastic and also looked old enough to be able to just say the word and put the costume on. So I was a little disappointed when it did happen and it was another actress. I have since learned that the young actress was Grace Fulton who is currently twenty two and probably around twenty to twenty one when it was filmed. A little young I suppose but she could have done it in my mind. The actress who played older Mary was Michelle Borth, I have seen her in many things and have found her to be very attractive but for me it just didn't work with her in the suit.
Looking at all my stuff you guys would know that I am more a DC then a Marvel guy. I think their female characters are more fleshed out and real but everyone has their own opinions. Marvel in casting has done fantastic jobs, with Captain Marvel, Black Widow, the Wasp. Right down to Fox with Famke Jemson and Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. Of the marvel properties I was always an X-Men fan and it was the phoenix saga that hooked me on the early 90's animated program. I have never written a Marvel fic and if I were to it would probably be on Jean but to me the Phoenix is so powerful I can't really find a way to weaken her believably.
All of this got me thinking as to who you all envision. Please feel free to leave comments. I would be curious.
Ever thought of Daenerys targaryen from GOT. A story about Daenerys with your style of writing; i envision it to be a masterpiece.
